By crossing your arms and then lifting your hands all the way up over your head, you make room for your shirt to slip right off. Girls tend to wear tighter shirts with little to no armpit room. Maybe pulling the shirt over your head from the bottom means it'll tug less on your hair. That kicked off the longest scientific experiment known to Tumblr and man. I saw that post about how girls and boys take their shirts off differently and I don't do it either of those ways. It's nothing to do with girls or boys specifically, but rather the cut of clothes each gender tends to wear. I've got a few theories, as a cross-over shirt taker-offer myself.

Tumblr Figured Out Why Guys Take Their Shirts Off Differently Than Girls
Boys tend to take them off like this —by putting their hands over their head, grabbing it from the back of their necks, and yanking it off over their heads. I Googled this conundrum and found that one viral Tumblr post asked the very same question three years ago and went insanely viral with over , notes by Tumblr users who were similarly stumped with this shirt-removing revelation. Since their shirts are longer, if they try the cross-over method, it would get stuck on their head when they extend their hands all the way up above their head.
